Girlfriends Book Club

Hello GBC SISTAHS,

I am Tamika one of the founders of this great organization we call Girlfriends Book Club. GBC has provided me with so many things such as sisterhood, getting to know different types of black women from different social and econiomic back grounds. I have made some great friendships and I have made some great connections with members of my chapter as well as members from other chapters. This for me has been more than just a club but a true SISTERHOOD.

I am married and have been to my loving husband Reggie of 9 year of which 4 I have been his wife. I have 2 kids . Edwin ( aka Fat Fat) 3 years old and my 14 year old Ashley ( aka Kidash). Yeah they got AKA's...lol.... I also have 3 step kids Dnetrah 13, Lil Reggie 21 & Shante 23.

I have been lucky enough to come out of corporate america ( the hustle in me wont let me go back not to mention I am a horrible employee ) I have become a hairstylist now of 3 years. I now am a proud salon owner of Thats Hot Hair in the Bay and Sensational Hair in Sacramento.

My future goals in life is to have a chain of Thats Hot Hair Studio's and continue to grow GBC as an organization.
